Mini MAG 2016 at Chesapeake College

Mini MAG 2016 at Chesapeake College (Saturday, March 19, 2016)

The Maryland Assessment Group (MAG) along with the Maryland Assessment Literacy Collaborative (MALC) are partnering to offer Maryland educators deeper learning about formative assessment and innovative classroom practices by content areas.

The morning will focus on extending the learning from the MALC regional meetings.  Attendees will participate in content specific assessment literacy workshops focused on creation and application. Make, Take & Post!

The afternoon Mini MAG sessions will feature innovative classroom and district assessment design and implementation.  The culminating activity of the day will be a book study journey through Dylan Wiliam's work, foreshadowing the capstone keynote experience at the November 2016 MAG Conference.

The MAG Board of Directors is seeking presentation proposals from administrators and other interested educational staff members for the afternoon sessions. Those proposals should focus on instructional implementations geared at helping all students achieve college and career readiness.  Presentations need to be submitted on or before January 30, 2016.

If your presentation is accepted you will receive a discount on your registration.  Please do not register until you are told the status of your presentation request.
