Background Information

Thank you for participating in our survey, your feedback is important.

The Town of Sheldon Planning Commission is working to identify projects that would make walking and biking in the village centers safer, and to capitalize on the recreational and economic opportunities of the Lamoille and Missisquoi Valley Rail Trails. They've received a municipal planning grant to help make this happen.

The Northwest Regional Planning Commission, working in collaboration with the Sheldon Planning Commission, Historical Society, RiseVT, Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail, and town residents, will draft a plan that proposes safe, realistic, and viable routes for pedestrians and bicyclists both within Sheldon Springs and Sheldon Creek, and between them.

The team identified 4 conceptual proposed projects that further goals of the study and that this survey is seeking community input on them.
