Course Information
VOLUNTEERCONNECT’s BoardConnect program now being offered online for individuals interested in serving as a member of a nonprofit Board of Trustees. Topics will include board member governance, legal, fiduciary responsibilities, and fundraising. We offer this course to professionals interested in serving on a nonprofit board as well as professionals that need a refresher course. These courses will prepare the participant to fully engage as a member of a nonprofit Board of Trustees. Participants will then have the option to attend an Online Meet and Greet Nonprofit Fair to facilitate introductions to a variety of area nonprofits.
Course fee: $400
The training sessions will occur on June 3, June 10, June 17, and June 23. These four evening sessions will run from 7pm-8:30pm online via Zoom.
The BoardConnect Meet & Greet Nonprofit Online Fair will take place on July 1. This is an optional event for those participating in the BoardConnect program that would like to be placed with a nonprofit.
