Please remember this registration is only for the assembly, NOT for lodging or meals. We will be taking several offerings during the weekend to cover expenses (i.e. tent rental, childcare, Friday night concert, etc). Again we ask you to "Give if you can. Give what you can. Give more if you can" - it's worked in the past and we expect we can cover our costs in the future.
 
Lodging Options:
  • To book hotel lodging, please arrange directly with hotel. There are a variety of options within 10 - 15 minutes of the church. A list of possibilities will be included in a bulletin insert.
  • Camping at BMC - We hope to set aside an area of the back lawn for tent sites and a few non-electrical camper/RV in the parking lot. Email all requests to Jen.
  • Home Stays - We hope to have a small number of home stay options available. Email all requests to Elvira Glenn at e_eglenn@netzero.net.

MEALS: Meals over the weekend will be on your own with the exception of Saturday lunch. Saturday lunch will be a special Hmong fundraiser lunch, donations paid at the meal.

  • "The Challenges of Interculturality" workshop led by Fernando Pérez Ventura y Rebeca González Torres in the afternoon.

Pre-Assembly Workshops - Going Deeper into Multiculturality

Sponsored by MSMC Leadership Board, the morning Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) will be led by Duncan Smith, from 9:00 am to noon. The IDI test is best done in advance, with a follow-up interview to be scheduled at a later date. The full cost of the IDI program is $90. The Leadership Board believes it is important and is making it available to all. Donations will be collected on-site. We just ask that you pay what you are able towards the cost of the program. 

We are not planning to provide child care, but are glad to work with individual needs if you can let us know by July 22.
