The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRND), Joint Program Manager for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Protection (JPM CBRN P) has tasked the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (CCDC CBC) to collect and organize data on CBRN protection products. This database is targeting information on commercially available and maturing products that have Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) from TRL 4 to TRL 9, which does not include basic research concepts. NOTE: By definition, a TRL 4 is the “Validation of Basic Application Concepts (Component and/or breadboard in a laboratory environment)” and that usually surety agent/live agent testing is required for products. This survey will address products that have been tested with surety/live agents only and will not address simulant testing. The information you provide will be used for inclusion in a product guide and may be used for planning purposes by the U.S. Government.

JPM PROTECTED includes products (such as decontaminants, applicators, coatings, indicators, etc.) that could benefit the Warfighter by mitigating hazards associated with traditional and non-traditional chemical agents, biological agents, radiological agents, and toxic industrial chemicals and toxic industrial materials.

The JPM CBRN Protection database will have a WIDE DISTRIBUTION throughout the ENTIRE CBRN defense research community.
