* 1. Laborer Responsibilities: ·
Attend and participate in morning and afternoon job specific safety / huddle meetings as needed
Prepare forms and layout for excavation projects and ensure compliance to specifications
Operate various tamping machines as per grade specifications
Inspect machines, equipment and assist with everyday maintenance (grease, clean, sweep)
Help with general maintenance, remodels and upkeep of offices, shops and yards as needed.
Pickup and delivery of various materials and supplies at jobsites, shop, yards, and offices.
Loading and unloading of various materials and supplies at jobsites, shop, yards, and offices.
Housekeeping at various jobsites, shop, yard, office.
Inspect and operate hand tools for various activities
Assist to dig trenches and place pipes and cables as per requirements
Maintain safety of company vehicles to ensure optimal utilization
Provide technical support to various excavation contracts and ensure completion of work
Ensure compliance to customer requirements and complete activities
Rig and install conduit and concrete structures
Observe and promote safety compliance
Complete 20 hours of OVE required safety training annually
Communicate with coworkers during PTP and JHA reviews
Report injuries and other accidents to foreman immediately
Assist coworkers with maintaining a clean and organized work site.
Provide suggestions for continued improvement

Laborer Skills and Qualifications:

·       Strong understanding of safety procedures and policies
·       Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
·       Excellent vision or the use of prescription glasses
·       Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
·       Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods in unfavorable weather conditions

Laborer Experience Requirements:

1-year experience in the construction industry (underground utility experience preferred)
Ability to work with and assist crew in hoisting materials, tools, equipment, and any related work
General construction knowledge
Evidence of working successfully with a team

Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities: Maneuver heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials Excavate and backfill trenches and excavations Transport backfill and other materials from storage areas to the installation point Rig and install conduit and concrete structures Observe and promote safety compliance Complete 20 hours of OVE required safety training annually Assist coworkers in ensuring that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift Equipment inspection sheets and complete repair work orders Site installation and quality control requirements Equipment deliveries Environmental compliance audits Safety Audits High-Risk work permits Heavy Equipment Operator Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of safety procedures and policies Ability to operate safely around existing utilities Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Excellent vision or the use of prescription lenses Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Sharp decision-making skills; particularly when under pressure Ability to work extended hours, as required Heavy Equipment Experience Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating heavy motorized equipment in a related industry. Including but not limited to loaders, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, and excavators.
