MPSA 2018 Mentoring Reception (Small Group Mentoring) - MENTOR Application

MPSA invites faculty members to serve as volunteer mentors during the MPSA Mentoring Reception. Mentors will guide conversations with no more than four mentees to discuss current research and professional aspirations. The Mentoring Reception will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 6:30 - 7:30pm at the Palmer House Hilton.

How does it work?
By submitting the following application, you agree to serve as a faculty mentor during the MPSA Mentoring Reception at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.

Short biographical sketches of this year's mentors will be posted at www.MPSAnet.org in mid-January 2018. Potential mentees will be encouraged to sign up online for specific mentors as availability exists. Notifications containing mentee name(s), contact information, and research question/conversation topic will be provided to mentors in mid-March 2017. Shortly after, each participant will receive a message of introduction to others participating in the small group mentoring session. There will be no on-site signups for this event, so you will have plenty of time to review the information for those in your group prior to the event.
