Introduction

As the Town of Mount Pleasant begins the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan, please take 10 - 15 minutes to take this important survey focused on the Town's future.

The Comprehensive Plan, which was adopted in 2017, sets goals and provides strategies for community character, economic development, land use & growth management, downtown, parks & recreation, infrastructure, and public services. This long-range planning and visioning process has helped the Town initiate many vital projects to implement the goals identified by citizens in 2017. You can review the 2017 Comprehensive Plan on the Town’s website at mtpleasantnc.org.

It is important to pause every five-to-ten years to take an assessment of the work that has been achieved and the overall direction the Town is headed. This Comprehensive Plan update is intended to do that.

This survey will close on Friday, May 31 at 5:00pm. If you experience difficulties taking this survey on a mobile device, please visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/MPPlan2024 to take this survey on a computer. You may also fill out the survey at the public input workshop, detailed below.

PUBLIC INPUT WORKSHOP: A drop-in public workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 21 (4 - 7 pm) in the fellowship hall of the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church located at 1260 North College Street in Mount Pleasant.

Thank you for your time and participation. Please contact Town Hall at 704-436-9800 if you have any questions about this survey or the Comprehensive Plan process.
