
Mount Pleasant Group Hospice Innovation Award |
You may nominate an innovation from the hospice where you work or volunteer or you may nominate another hospice meeting the eligibility criteria.
The Mount Pleasant Group Hospice Innovation Award recognizes innovative solutions, approaches, and programs supporting the delivering high-quality hospice care in the community.
Eligibility Criteria
The hospice must:
- Be a member in good standing of Hospice Palliative Care Ontario, in the organization category.
- Provide Visiting Hospice services or Hospice Residence Services as defined by HPCO Standards
What Projects/Innovations Qualify for the Award?
- Innovative approaches in meeting the needs of hospice clients by improving program outcomes; increasing access to care; or improving efficiency of hospice care delivery; or
- Innovations that improve the quality of hospice services; or
- Innovations that address the psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural needs of a diverse population; or marginalized populations; or
- Innovations that improve volunteerism (attraction, diversity, retention) in the hospice.
