The Boeing Company's decision to move Out-of-Production support, modifications and freighter conversion work to Long Beach, Moscow and other locations is impacting hundreds of employees in the Puget Sound region. The move will result in some current employees transferring to new locations within Boeing while others could face lay off.
Because this movement of work impacts our represented employees, SPEEA will open negotiations with Boeing on Monday, Oct. 28, to secure the best assistance, including relocation, transfer and separation packages, for impacted bargaining unit members.
