Thank you for your interest in applying for a Compass Project Leader position for the 2010-11 Micro Projects. Micro Projects will run from January 2011 until June 2011. These projects are shorter and more focused than traditional Compass projects, but fall under one of our traditional service lines: Board Development, Strategic Alignment, or Funding Strategies. This application provides a list of our exciting projects, and provides an opportunity for you to rank your interest in each.
COMMITMENT: Project Leaders spend 3 - 5 hours per week on the project from January through May. PLs will lead a team of three volunteers, and will work closely with the client's Executive Director or Board Chair.
REQUIREMENTS: Compass Project Leaders must have an MBA. Previous Compass experience is not required.
DEADLINE: The deadline for Project Leader applications is Friday, Jan. 7, 2011. New Project Leader applicants will be interviewed before Jan. 15. We will contact selected Project Leaders on January 17.
TIMING: Project Leaders will be trained in mid-January, and will begin working with clients right away to develop the project scope and letter of engagement. Project teams will be formed in late January.
