AFL Goulburn Murray

AFL Goulburn Murray is excited to announce that in 2025, the female pathway will be further expanded with the introduction of U14 Junior Girls.

The competition will further encourage our clubs to support female participation in a more age-appropriate setting, as the current entry point for all-female competition is U18 girls. This program provides a great opportunity for players and mums who wish to get involved in coaching or volunteer roles.

This coming July, we will be running junior female Auskick and Superkick programs in Shepparton and Echuca regions before kicking off a 4-week junior girls competition come August to give girls the opportunity to experience footy before committing to the season in 2025.

We can set up teams, school groups, or friendship groups – so if you want to play with a group reach out to Kevin (contact below) and he can set it up!
