If you're a Grade 12 or post-secondary student from the Kootenays who jumps at the chance to give back to your community, we want to hear from you! What are you doing to make a difference? Are you volunteering? Working with community groups? Mentoring peers or younger students?
Tell us your story and you could win $2,000 for your education. Six bursaries will be awarded in 2023 and one could be yours!
Kootenay Savings Community Champs Bursaries reward students who have made a dedicated commitment to enriching the lives of others in their community, shown outstanding leadership abilities or made contributions in the following areas:
• Volunteering
• Mentoring others
• Community service
• Affecting positive change
• Personal development and growth
Eligibility Requirements: Students must be a member of Kootenay Savings Credit Union. Post-secondary students must be enrolled in full-time studies. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Application Deadline: Friday, April 28, 2023 @ noon PT. All eligible students will be notified of the status of their application 8-10 weeks after the application deadline.
