New Dues Options - please review carefully.

MEDA members strongly expressed support for new directions for MEDA, including the hiring of an Executive Director.   Financing is needed to make new goals and objectives possible.  Please review the following dues options carefully: 1.  EDO (Economic Development Organization), 2.  Membership Sponsor, 3.  Partnership Organization, or 4.Individual.

* 2. The MEDA Board is requesting all members review the MEDA Code of Ethics before becoming/renewing your membership.  Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct

* 3. Option 1:  Economic Development Organizations.   Organizations with a focus on economic development.  Permanent members and EDOs.  Other organizations that have a focus on economic development may choose this option as well.
Benefit: As well as making an investment in our mission all members of the organization are included in all membership benefits.

Dues will be calculated by multiplying your total net operating budget by .002. Your “net operating budget” is defined as your total operating expense budget minus logical exclusions as defined by the EDO (i.e., capital expenditures, depreciation expense, bad debt or loan-loss reserve, or pass-through revenues/expenses not benefiting your operations).

* 4. Option 2:  Membership Sponsor.  Non EDO businesses and organizations.  Please select the sponsorship level of your choice.

* 5. Option 3:  Partner Organization.  Other membership groups who wish to support MEDA.  Organizations that benefit from being a part of each other's mission and work.

Option 4:  Individual membership $200.  This option is for those indivdiuals or organizations who which to purchase basic membership.  Benefits include:  Scholarship options are available quarterly to assist with your professional training needs.  Increase your voice in shaping state and federal legislation, including the Montana Next Generation of Economic and Community Development Tools project.  Save $50 on Spring and Fall Conference registration. Engage in two Professional Development trainings per year.
Support and technical assistance from the MEDA office for your CRDC, EDD, Community Review, Working Group, surveys, meeting coordination, conference call coordination, etc. Subscription to GrantStation Insider to explore potential funding sources. Support MEDA members via partnership with National Association of Development Organizations (NADO), Montana Nonprofit Association (MNA), Montana Infrastructure Coalition (MIC) and other partners.  Instant communication with MEDA’s 200+ members through listserv, email updates, newsletter, and social media. High level networking via MEDA Directory, website, and social media including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
