Foreword

ELIA is part of the Europe-funded project SHIFT which aims to create a shift in the competencies of cultural leaders, with regards to three of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: climate change; gender equality; and inclusion of minorities. 

Our colleagues at IETM - International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts are the leaders of the gender equality strand, which has a particular focus on the aftermath of #METOO for the culture sector.

ELIA sends out this survey to its members, in collaboration with its member Iceland University of the Arts, the Disorderly Women Alliance and IETM. The survey results will be presented on November 17th during one of our Biennial pre day events.  All specific information will be kept strictly confidential.

The #METOO movement  exposed sexual harassment in the workplace. The culture and art sector was in the midst of the debate and Arts universities along with other organisations have had to re-examine work practices and methodologies.

We want to examine how ELIA members have been working with this important and delicate issue and we hope you will take the time to answer the following questions.
