2025 Doggone it! photo contest

North Shore Gas is looking for a new safety 'ambassadog' to star in our safe digging campaign and help us share an important safety message: Doggone it! Call 811 at least two days before you dig.

Whether planting a garden or installing a fence, people could be in danger if they strike an underground natural gas line or other utility line. Contact 811 at least two days before you dig to have an expert mark the locations of buried utility lines — and keep everyone safe.

Fill out the entry form below and submit a photo or two of your dog to participate in this year's contest. Entries must be submitted before 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 29.

We will narrow down the entries to a list of "top dog" finalists for a public vote. The winning dog will be announced in early August. If your pet becomes our next safety ambassadog, the photos you submit may be used in promotional and advertising materials for North Shore Gas, and by media outlets.
