Welcome to the Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog, Inc. volunteer survey. Our efforts are entirely volunteer; there are no paid staff positions – every minute of volunteer time is a tremendously valuable resource for our efforts. We’re thrilled you’re considering volunteering to “help protect the dogs who help protect you!”

Here’s a little background about the Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog:

Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog, Inc. is an independent, all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 organization, whose mission is to Support Massachusetts Police Dogs, by helping provide bullet/stab resistant  K9 vests, essential equipment, funding for training & dogs. We are building on 22 years of success; generous support from donors & tireless volunteer efforts have provided 620 bulletproof K-9 vests (including 160 specialized SWAT K-9 vests at $2500+ each), 390 K-9 First Aid Kits ($200 each), & $610,000 in grant funds, sponsorship and community partnership fundraising, for essential K-9 equipment: bite suits, bite sleeves, outdoor kennels, cruiser kennels, cruiser heat detector/alarm, & remote door popper systems, a narcotics safe, SWAT training equipment, scent-detection training equipment, and funding — for three K-9 training conferences.

Probably the most valuable volunteer opportunity is simply to be a MA Vest-a-Dog ambassador: tell your friends & family about our organization - be sure to say why you feel it’s so important! Share our MA Vest-a-Dog website, follow us on facebook…come to our events!

We welcome youth volunteers and recognize the need to staff accordingly with under-age-18 volunteers; thus everyone please answer the 18(+) age question with Y-yes or N-no!
