As part of our three-year Strategic Plan (2019-2021), SMPS SFBAC included an objective to “be at the forefront of equity, inclusion, and diversity”  with the goal of expanding membership and increasing chapter participation by attracting more marketing and technical professionals, including men and women from diverse cultural backgrounds. To that end, we have added a new Board Advisor position for Diversity and Inclusion for the 2020-21 board year.

We are reaching out to you to get your input as we assess where we are today and what we can do to increase diversity going forward. Please fill out this survey.

Comments may be shared anecdotally and anonymously in the survey results. Results will be shared with the chapter leadership and at the 2020 SMPS Build Business Conference.

The board and committees have been working to achieve diversity and strengthen the impact of SMPS SFBAC. Studies show that diverse groups perform better together. Organizations across the world thrive due to their diverse workforces.  As an organization that helps professionals become better professionals, it is our responsibility to serve our ENTIRE community to ensure success for all.

If you are interested in directly sharing your best practices, please contact Joy Woo at joy.woo@aecom.com. Thank you in advance for your participation!
