2022 DFW Outstanding Corporate Counsel Awards Nominations are Open

Over the past five years, ACC-DFW and The Texas Lawbook have revamped the Outstanding Corporate Counsel Awards to make them more substantive and focusing on the great legal work of our business law community.

The nomination process is open until Nov. 23.

The Texas Lawbook and ACC-DFW have put together a terrific group of judges to review the submissions. The finalists for each category will be announced and profiled in The Lawbook starting in December. The awards ceremony will take place January 26 at the George W. Bush Institute at Southern Methodist University.

The more detailed the nomination, the better chance it has to win. Explain in detail the successful work of the in-house counsel, the challenges the nominee faced and why the nominee deserves the award. Note: Information provided in the submission will be used in the articles by The Texas Lawbook.

Here are the categories:

Lifetime Achievement
M&A Deal of the Year
Senior Corporate Counsel of the Year (Large, Medium & Small/Solo Departments)
Public Service and Pro Bono
Legal Innovation
Business Litigation of the Year
Achievement in Diversity and Inclusion
General Counsel of the Year (Large, Medium & Small/Solo Departments)
