In the Fall of 2021, we asked Ventura County residents to provide their thoughts on transportation needs and challenges in Ventura County.  Now, we’d like your input to help us identify potential transportation projects, strategies, and solutions, and to prioritize potential future transportation improvements throughout Ventura County.  The objective of these questions is to consider trade-offs between project types and strategies when reviewing a variety of factors, including funding constraints, transportation mode, and what you want transportation in Ventura County to look like in the future.
For reference, the draft goals of the Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) are the following:

a)    Balance Transportation and Land Use – Transportation investments support healthy and sustainable land use that improves housing choice and affordability.

b)    Emissions and Climate – Reduce countywide transportation emissions and improve the sustainability of the transportation network.

c)     Economic Prosperity – Transportation helps to provide for regional economic prosperity and improves quality of life for residents and businesses.

d)    Access and Choice – Improve multimodal transportation choice and access to destinations within the county and regionally.

e)    Safety – Improve transport system design and operation to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries.
