Chatham Islands Investment Strategy Questionnaire
Section One: Your thoughts about living on the Chatham Islands
Introduction The Chatham Islands Investment Strategy is a document that reflects the vision that Chatham Islanders have for their community. It helps to communicate that vision with government and other funders across five areas of investment – infrastructure, environment, economic, social, and cultural. The document was first developed in 2019 by Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri Iwi Trust, Hokotehi Moriori Trust, Chatham Islands Council and Chatham Islands Enterprise Trust. It’s time to review the document and update it, looking to the next five years and further into the future. The four entities are interested in hearing your vision for the islands, and where investment is needed to make that vision a reality. This strategy is about the islands investing in its people, their wellbeing and the future. Please support us by giving some of your time to share your thoughts about the Islands.
