Livingston Township Community Survey

Per state law, communities that have Master Plans are required to review their Plan every five years to determine if it needs updating. Livingston Township has recognized the importance of having an up-to-date Master Plan and is seeking citizen input for the update.

The purpose of the Livingston Township Master Plan is to provide guidelines for future physical development of the community, while protecting the water resources, other natural resources and rural township character. The master plan provides guidance to township officials when dealing with land use and recreation facility planning in the township. Additionally, the master plan will give direction to township officials when participating in land use and zoning issues through the county zoning ordinance.
