Introduction

Question Title

* 1. You are invited to take part in a patient survey titled ‘Living with Ventricular Tachycardia” conducted by the European Heart Rhythm Association Scientific Initiatives Committee (SIC).

Ventricular tachycardia (VT) is a dangerous abnormal heart rhythm from the lower chamber of the heart which can prevent it from working properly. The primary goal of this survey is understanding patients’ experience of having VT. The survey aims to better understand the long-term impact of VT management, including the use of medications and procedures (e.g. ablation for VT – where a catheter is inserted into the heart to find the area of the heart causing the abnormal rhythm).

The findings of this study will help inform the development of patient-reported outcome measures to be included in future clinical trials of VT treatments.

The survey is open to all patients who have previously experienced VT, including those who have had an implantable cardioverter defibrillation inserted and/or undergone catheter ablation for VT.
