City of La Mesa Climate Action Plan Update |
Help shape the City of La Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) Update!
The City of La Mesa is developing an updated Climate Action Plan (CAP) that aims to reduce community-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The CAP Update will reflect City’s progress to reduce GHG emissions, evaluate new targets for reducing GHG emissions, and consider new measures the City can take.
Background
The City adopted the Climate Action Plan (CAP) in March 2018, affirming its commitment to environmental sustainability. The CAP establishes a long-range roadmap to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the categories of energy, transportation, solid waste, water, and green infrastructure. It guides which implementation activities the City prioritizes in order to mitigate the effects of climate change, supporting La Mesa's vision of a safe, healthy community. Visit the CAP Update webpage for more information.
