GIS software and geographic databases (geodatabases) represent features on the earth, such as buildings, site addresses, utility systems, city boundaries, and roads. The goal of the survey is to identify strengths and weaknesses of the current state of GIS at the City of Grants Pass. The outcome of this project is ultimately meant to benefit you, which means your active participation is a chance for you to “help us help you”.

The success of this needs assessment and master planning effort depends on the quality of the input we receive from you about your needs - what’s working, and what could be improved.
