Southland District Council is reviewing the Natural Features and Landscapes section of the District Plan. We want your input to ensure any potential changes are the right ones.

When we talk about landscapes and natural features, this is what we mean:

Landscape is the land and what is within it, and how people value it.

Natural features are unmodified components of landscapes, such as mountains, rivers, wetlands, hill country, plains, coastlines, rocky outcrops or bluffs/cliffs.
