Thank you for filling out the Graduate Tacoma 2030 goal Indicator survey.

This survey is part of our “2030 reset” process. We have consulted partners, systems leaders and community members on our movement’s efficacy, and on our new goal statement. We now need input on how to best measure cradle-to-career and institutional progress towards our 2030 goal.

Our working 2030 goal statement is:

“By 2030, 70% of Tacoma Public Schools students will earn a degree, technical certificate, or gain a good-earning wage employment opportunity within six years of high school graduation. Targeted efforts will focus on students of color and those impacted by poverty.

Success will require meaningful cross-sector alignment and partnership, data-sharing and accountability, targeted resourcing, advocating for racially just practices, and maintaining progress on all indicators, cradle to career.”

We will be following this survey with stakeholder and community focus groups, then sharing out results in late 2021. Please complete the survey to the best of your ability so we can capture different views, and let us know if you would like to participate in a focus group. The survey is anonymous and confidential, and shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to complete.

For a better understanding of our indicators, you can see baseline to current information on each of them HERE, or read our full 2020 Community Impact Report HERE.
