Question Title

Question Title

* 9. In your opinion, is the quality of education and student experience dependent on the location of schools within the District?

Question Title

* 10. The Board will continue to evaluate long-range options while addressing the most critical facilities needs only. Assuming future plans for school improvement projects were acceptable to you, what level of increased funding would you likely support? Scenarios below represent an annual, net tax increase for each $100,000 of property value.

CONSOLIDATION

In 2018, the District explored options for annexation or consolidation with the districts of Harvard, Richmond, and Woodstock. Due to the fact that Alden-Hebron’s tax rate is the lowest of the four districts the tax rate for Alden-Hebron would increase in all scenarios. In general, Alden-Hebron would take on the tax rate of the district that it is annexed into, not including the outstanding long-term debt of either district.
