Oncology fellows are invited to submit their research abstract for consideration by Monday, March 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Please note only one submission per individual and please adhere to the guidelines below.

  • All abstracts must be submitted online, in PDF version.
  • Your abstract should be a short description of your research/work in GynOnc, containing all the elements necessary to define your goals and results to the reader.
  • Authors will be required to disclose all financial relationships helping to ensure quality and unbiased presentations
  • All categories pertaining to the subject matter are welcomed. Abstracts are for any project in which there has been data analyzed and not for a presentation of an ongoing project without analyzable data or with results pending.

Note: Abstract submissions must reflect completed research. Submissions of previously presented research are permitted.

Our board of faculty will evaluate the abstracts based on the following criteria: novelty of the research, significance of the findings, relevance to GynOnc, and clarity. Incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.

Notification of acceptance, or regret, will be delivered via e-mail to fellows by March 27th. Please note the faculty will determine if your abstract submission will be an oral or poster presentation. Our agenda plans for approximately 15 oral presentations during the designated meeting dates.

Abstract Format
  • The title of the abstract should be brief, objectively describing the study. Do not use non-standard abbreviations and commercial names (generic names only).
  • Capitalize only the first word and any proper nouns.
  • Only one submission per fellow.
  • Abstracts are permitted to have one figure or table included in submission
  • Abstracts limited to 2500 characters (abstract body, including spaces).
  • Abstracts should be structured in such a way as to include the following 4 sections:
    • Objectives -- What was the intent or goal of the study? What did you want to learn?
    • Methods -- What was the trial design? What was the sample? What instruments were used? How were data collected and analyzed?
    • Results -- What were the findings?
