The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) has partnered with WestEd and The Improve Group to conduct a review of our special education program and services to identify strengths and make recommendations for areas of improvement and implementation of best practices.

As part of the review, WestEd staff are conducting a comprehensive data gathering process. Feedback from parents of students who receive special education services is an important part of the process of evaluating any special education program. Please take the time to complete one survey for each child you have who is receiving special education services in MMSD. We need your input to better understand the strengths of the MMSD special education program and areas where the district needs to make improvements. All of your responses will be kept confidential. Survey responses are returned directly to WestEd. MMSD staff will not see any individual responses or raw survey data. Your responses will be used specifically for this project and be used solely for the purposes of reviewing the special education programs and services in MMSD.
