About This Survey

Our research group (University of Arkansas, University of Kentucky, North Carolina State University,  and Clemson University) invites you to take part in a brief survey to document the performance of local food in your community.  As a resident of Little Rock, we are keenly interested to know how your local food environment meets your expectations.   Your observations about your community will help identify which areas of your food system are strong and which need improvement. These insights will help farmers and local food leaders strengthen the food environment.

Your participation is voluntary. If you do participate, you are free to discontinue the survey at any time and/or skip questions. By completing the survey, you give consent to us to use your answers in our data analysis. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.

Please be aware, while we make every effort to safeguard your data once received from the on-line survey company, given the nature of on-line surveys, as with anything involving the Internet, we can never guarantee the confidentiality of the data while still on the survey company’s servers, or while en route to either them or us. It is also possible the raw data collected for research purposes will be used for marketing or reporting purposes by the survey/data gathering company after the research is concluded, depending on the company’s Terms of Service and Privacy policies.

If you have questions about the study, please feel free to ask. Our contact information is given at the bottom of the page.

If you have complaints, suggestions, or questions about your rights as a research volunteer, contact the staff in the University of Kentucky Office of Research Integrity at 859-257-9428 or toll-free at 1-866-400- 9428.
