The Life and Death Matters Frances Montgomery Personal Support Worker Hospice Palliative Care Award

This scholarship award is given annually to a Personal Support Worker nominated for excellence in providing hospice palliative care and/or integrating a palliative approach in any setting. The award celebrates Frances Montgomery and her commitment to caring for the dying within her family and extended community. This award acknowledges the invaluable contributions of Personal Support Workers as essential members of the health care team in providing care for the dying, support for families and loved ones, and helping move quality hospice palliative care forward in Ontario.

The scholarship award includes a full registration to the annual Hospice Palliative Care Ontario Conference, a stipend for travel and accommodation, and a one-year membership with HPCO. The scholarship is awarded as a package and may not be broken into its component parts or cashed out. The scholarship is non-transferrable.
