National Purchasing Specialist |
Job Description
Stämm is a biotechnology company dedicated to making biomanufacturing easy, scalable, and repeatable, starting with the production of biologics and cell therapies.
In 2020, the total volume of anthropogenic mass matched the total amount of biomass globally, meaning it equaled the combined weight of all living organisms on the planet. We can only expect this number to continue increasing as it is key to solving humanity's systemic challenges.
However, we must ensure that conquering the great challenges of humanity does not extinguish the planet's capacity to sustain life. The current method of biomanufacturing has provided humanity with countless solutions. Bioprocessing is the most efficient way to align human advancement with a thriving natural environment.
To prevent nature from perishing, we aim to place it at the center of all human activities by incorporating its knowledge system to achieve humanity's prosperity.
Founded in 2016, Stämm applies nature's use of laminar flow to downsize an entire biotech facility into an all-in-one, plug & play desktop unit. This unit features unidirectional flow and continuous production, enabling the decentralization of bioprocesses and democratizing access to biotechnology products. This allows our partners to focus on disruptive discoveries that have an impact on people's lives, driven by nature.
For our Numbers team, we are in need of a National Purchasing Specialist who is proactive and service-oriented. We are seeking a problem-solving team player who is constantly seeking self-improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
Purchasing supplies and following up on open purchase orders.
Stock projection and updating.
Planning and coordinating internal supply.
Coordinating logistics for supplies, products, and equipment.
Developing relationships with suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Knowledge of management tools and stock control.
Advanced Excel skills.
More Information:
This position is 100% on-site in Buenos Aires, Argentina (Retiro).
