The Leadership Jefferson County (LJC) Class of 2019 welcomes applications from organizations serving Jefferson County to increase and encourage volunteerism in our community.  Aligning with National Volunteer Week, we are hosting a "Volunteer Fair" on April 6, 2019 at 580 McIntyre Street in Golden (Foothills Animal Shelter) from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  In addition, your organization is invited to be featured on a Jeffco Volunteerism Website LJC will host for a minimum of one year.  Participation in both the fair and website is free and will be marketed by the LJC Class of 2019.  Attendance at the fair is limited to 15 organizations with priority to those serving Jefferson County residents. The application process will close by 5:00 PM (MST) on February 28th.

What you can expect next? 

Someone from a Leadership Jefferson County sub-committee will be in contact and advise you of our selections for the fair.  If selected we will share the marketing strategy with you and begin discussing the logistics of the day.

We anticipate that selections will be made by the 8th of March.

  • A 150-word or less summary of volunteer opportunities, time commitments and possible schedule, Jefferson County locations, skills needed and requirements.
  • A web link to more information or an application.
  • Contact name/e-mail.
