Leaving Cert 2026 Saturday Russian classes GALWAY

Information required for registration

This class is open to incoming 5th year students only, i.e. students who will sit the Leaving Certificate in 2026 and are located in Galway City.

Students should have an existing knowledge of Russian that is sufficient to prepare for the Leaving Certificate examination. This Leaving Certificate examination is broadly aligned to B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference. The class is being offered to students as a full 180 hour course for those who require tuition to reach the standards for Leaving Certificate preparation.

Classes will commence if minimum student numbers are achieved. They will be held face-to-face on Saturday mornings in a location close to the city centre.

Classes are funded by the Department of Education. There is no tuition fee for students to attend.

Classes are three hours long and take place on Saturday mornings. Students are required to attend for the full duration of each class. Three unexplained absences within a term will preclude further participation in the course.
