My previous years on the NSRC Board has given me many opportunities to learn about our Respiratory profession both on a state and national level. As our profession continues to evolve and grow on a national level, staying abreast on current legislation and opportunities to further promote Respiratory Therapy is key. All therapists having a voice and ensuring communication across the state makes our profession stronger. Nebraska Therapists can do great things and would be honored to be part of that by participating on the NSRC Board.

I want to grow our profession in a tangible way- encouraging hospitals to utilize RT's at the fullest extent of our scope, and lobby to change payer status on RRT so we can participate more fully in home health care and care homes.

Having been an active member of the NSRC and AARC for 35 years, it continues to be clearly apparent the importance of advocacy and promotion of our profession not only here in the State of Nebraska but at the National level as well. Having served for the past two and a half years as the current Treasurer for the NSRC I would seek to remain in the position for another term in support of all that we do together as the NSRC Board. Thank you for your consideration in the opportunity to continue serving all of you in the NSRC.
