What is flexibility in the workplace

Being flexible when it comes to work is worth a lot. Employees who approach their job with a flexible mindset are typically more highly valued by employers. Flexibility on the job includes the willingness and ability to readily respond to changing circumstances and expectations
Flexibility involves:
1. adapting successfully to changing situations & environments.
2. Keeping calm in the face of difficulties.
3. Planning ahead, but having alternative options in case things go wrong.
4. Thinking quickly to respond to sudden changes in circumstances.
5. Persisting in the face of unexpected difficulties.
What does it mean to be flexible?
Flexibility is a personality trait that describes the extent to which a person can cope with changes in circumstances and think about problems and tasks in novel, creative ways. This trait is used when stressors or unexpected events occur, requiring a person to change their stance, outlook, or commitment.
