The Knoxville Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is taking a Safe System approach and developing a Roadway Safety Action Plan. The Safe System approach acknowledges that humans make mistakes and that deaths and serious injuries are not an acceptable cost of doing business. The purpose of this survey is to:
  • Understand the experiences of roadway users
  • Provide an opportunity for users to share their biggest traffic safety concerns and identify perceived risk factors, and
  • Ask for thoughts on Vision Zero policy, program, and implementation actions.
