Why is it important to participate in this survey?

The Winnetka Public Schools District 36 School Board initiated Future Ready D36 in March 2017, the District’s first Educational Master Facility Plan in 20 years. A Core Team comprised of District staff, current and former parents, and Winnetka community members is working alongside an architecture firm, DLR Group, throughout the Future Ready D36 planning process.

On March 12, the Core Team shared initial Future Ready D36 concepts with the School Board. These concepts serve as recommendations on how the Board may address facilities, enrollment, and teaching and learning in a long-term manner. The District is asking Winnetka community members and staff to share feedback on the concepts. The outcome of this survey will help guide the Future Ready D36 Core Team as they further refine concepts to recommend to the Board for approval, which is anticipated to take place in June 2018. Further details and the presentation shared on March 12 are available at
