2023 KRA Annual Conference-Call for Proposals

1. Note from the Conference Chair

Thank you for submitting a proposal to the 2023 KRA Conference. This year, I'm excited to continue the Early Childhood strand targeting birth through K educators, as well as our K-12 & post-secondary strands! We have also increased our topic designations to include science of reading, as well as other relevant categories. We also welcome proposals that are relevant to our varied state literacy grants and initiatives, whose participants attend and support our conference (e.g., Read to Achieve, Kentucky Comprehensive Literacy, Early Childhood Language and Literacy Project, Reading Recovery, Kentucky Reading Project, Adolescent Literacy Project, Kentucky Writing Project, multiple disciplinary literacy initiatives). This will add to our rich multi-age content connections. We are all promoting literacy at the state and local levels in our communities!

In our attempt to help conserve our planet's resources and streamline the proposal submission process, KRA continues to stay green! For our 2023 conference, we will have a fully online proposal submission process. We will also use an online scheduler for our conference program.
