Strategic Planning – What do you think the College should focus on?

The College’s job is to protect the public interest. This is done in a number of ways. By making sure only qualified people can practice as physiotherapists and use the title; by ensuring physiotherapists continue to learn and grow throughout their careers; by creating Standards for the profession through open consultation; and by considering all concerns and complaints brought to the College.

Having a plan - a strategic plan - helps the College set priorities and direction, be efficient and effective with resources, drives alignment, simplifies decision-making and helps to communicate messages more effectively.

We would love to hear where you think the College should be focusing its energies and efforts in the near future.

Ensure that the physiotherapist assistants who deliver care on behalf of a PT are aware of the Standards that apply to practice

Explore how to facilitate physiotherapists use of outcome measurement data to improve practice
