CALL FOR PROPOSALS: Presentation Proposal Form
We invite you to submit a proposal for a concurrent session presentation or poster and be a part of this event, which will focus environmental education as a context for civic engagement. Great opportunity to share your experience and ideas! Individuals who have not presented at the Kansas Environmental Education Conference in the past are especially encouraged to submit proposals.
We are specifically seeking presentations on the following for Saturday, November 2, 2019:
Awareness to Action in EE: Great environmental education takes students from learning to doing. Share your latest, greatest ideas, projects and programs that engage students in making a difference in our world. (50 Minute Interactive, Hands-On or Panel Discussion Sessions)
Topics might include:
Environmental Justice and the role of EE
Projects from Awareness to Action (Kansas WILD, Badges for Students, Civic Engagement)
Citizen Science
Problem-Based Learning
Service Learning
Volunteer Corps
