Merrimac Open Space Committee survey - Emery Street property

Introduction

The Town of Merrimac owns 17 acres on Emery Street that were originally acquired to serve as additional athletic fields for the community. Unfortunately, the lack of reliable well water at the site made it impossible to maintain grass playing fields in the sandy soil. After several years of little use, the Open Space Committee is circulating this survey to gather residents' ideas on potential future uses for the property. If the property were to be lightly developed for community use, what might you like to see and do there?
Question Title
1.If the Emery Street property were to become a community gathering place, please check all boxes that correspond to the uses you think would benefit the community and propose new ideas in the suggestions section.
