Location: This training is being offered in person at the Tomlinson South Meridian YMCA: 5155 S Hillsdale Ave Meridian, ID 83642
Individual Registration Cost: $50 per person, per day (payment will be due at the time of registration)
Dr. Katie Azevedo, and the Idaho Out-of-School Network, have designed the Behavior Management Institute (BMI) to provide research-based strategies to providers serving all ages of youth in an out-of-school setting. A well-managed learning environment is the foundation for positive relationships and academic success! The training is intended to be a team approach to behavior management, and although it is recommended to have individuals attend from the same program/site location for an immersive experience, it is open to any combination of providers that identify as a team.
There are 3 Tiers to choose from:
- Tier 1: Behavior Management 101 - for teams just starting their behavior management journey.
- Tier 2: Trauma-Informed Practices - for teams that have already completed Tier 1*
- Tier 3: Youth Mental Health **ALL NEW** - for teams that have completed Tier 1 and Tier 2 or have taken Tier 3 in previous years and would like the new information*
*A team is welcome to take Tier 1 and then advance to Tier 2 (or Tier 2 to Tier 3) on the following day.
