The 2022 Program Directors' Retreat will take place in-person at ASCO Headquarters in Alexandria, VA on Thursday, November 3rd and Friday, November 4th. This form is for in-person registration only; a listen-only, virtual registration form will become available closer to the Retreat date.

The Retreat was developed to expand the knowledge of Hematology/Oncology Training Program Directors and Associate Program Directors and to provide resources for them to develop the tools needed to satisfy the ACGME program requirements. The Retreat provides concrete, real-life examples of concepts that Program Directors can take home and implement at their own institutions, as well as the opportunity for them to network with each other.

The 2022 Retreat consists of the following components:

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM:     Faculty Development
5:30 PM – 8:00 PM:     Networking Dinner

Friday, November 4
8:30 AM – 3:00 PM:     Traditional Retreat Programming

  • “What are you struggling with right now?” will occur on Thursday morning of the Retreat and is geared towards attendees within 3 years of their role to discuss hardships faced being a new Program Director
  • “What Keeps Us Up at Night” will occur on Friday of the Retreat and is applicable to all career years
