We invite tumuaki, mentors and provisionally certificated teachers to participate in our induction and mentoring programme, to support and build the leadership capacity of mentor teachers to support provisionally certificated teachers move towards full certification.
Te Whatu Kura Induction and Mentoring Programme aims develop participants understanding of the:
· Teacher certification process;
· Practicing Teacher Criteria and collecting evidence;
· Role of professional leaders.

To participate in Te Whatu Kura Induction and Mentoring Programme you need to meet the following criteria:
· Teach or support a participant in māori medium Level 1 and Level 2 settings and puna reo
· Have the approval and support of your tumuaki
