The Summer Technical Assistance Network Project is an intensive program that will strengthen the capacity of out-school time and expanded learning programs to deliver high quality summer programming that meets the needs of children and youth across the state. This project is made possible by generous funding from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation in partnership with ASAPConnect and the Summer Matters Campaign.

Program Details:
Program sites will receive:
• 10 hours training for aprx. 3 program staff, sessions will be held in February, April and May
• Tools for reflection, planning, training and assessing your summer program
• 10 hours of ongoing technical assistance with your Summer TA Provider to support the implementation of the tools and training provided
Program site commitment:
• Submit project enrollment forms for the agency and each staff person participating in the project
• Participate in an orientation webinar in January 2014
• Coordinate with your Summer TA Provider to schedule technical assistance sessions and trainings
• Complete Program Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan with support from your Summer TA Provider
• Complete evaluation tools for the duration of the project
Cost: There is no cost to the site for participating in this project thanks to funding from the David & Lucile Packard Foundation.
Agency Requirements:
• Agency must serve or plan to serve school-age children and youth through a summer program
