Previous performing arts experience is NOT necessary! Prior preparation is NOT required for auditions.

Eligibility requirements: You must be at least age 15 by July 5, 2018 and no older than 19 by August 17, 2018, AND live in the city of Boston OR Everett in order to participate.

Auditions will consist of a social justice workshop and the callbacks will be mini-workshops in acting, music, and dance. Both are led by Boch Center Teaching Artists. Be prepared to take risks, collaborate creatively with others, show us your professionalism, and have fun!

IMPORTANT! If eligible, applying for Boston Youth Fund’s SuccessLink will greatly increase your chances of acceptance. Please ask your school guidance counselor for details on BYF SuccessLink or visit http://youth.boston.gov/.
