East Norwalk Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Plan

The City of Norwalk is in the process of creating a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Plan for the East Norwalk Station Area. The East Norwalk TOD Plan will provide a coordinated basis for future redevelopment opportunities and neighborhood improvements. The Plan will also focus on improved pedestrian and bicycle connections that leverage the advantages of the regional rail connection to the areas around the existing Station. The Plan will be a community-based vision for the future, assembled with the active engagement of residents, property owners, and businesses.

To gather community feedback for this plan, the City and the Planning Team held a Public Visioning Session on Saturday, March 23. We had a great turnout and were able to have valuable feedback from various members of the community on their aspirations and challenges they face in using the East Norwalk Station Area.

If you missed the event, don’t worry, you can still tell us your thoughts!

We have designed the following survey to solicit feedback from the community members who could not attend the Visioning Workshop on Saturday, March 23rd. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete!

If you have additional questions or comments, please let us know using the “Additional Comments” box at the end of this survey.

Be sure to complete the survey before the comment period closes on Friday, May 24. We appreciate your time and look forward to hearing your feedback!

You can also review the meeting materials – which include the meeting presentation, group exercises and the feedback received during the group exercises at
