We are looking to recruit new members to join our Judging Program Committee (formerly the Executive Judging Committee)! The iGEM Judging Program Committee is charged with running, updating, maintaining, and managing the judging program within the iGEM Competition. Membership in the JPC will likely require stepping back from normal judging activities.

Pre-requisites
  • 2+ years of iGEM Judging experience
  • 2+ years of iGEM Team experience
Committee Roles and Expectations
  • Time commitment: 1-2 hours per week for most of the year
  • Participate in 2 monthly calls
    • In the weeks leading up to the Jamboree, additional time and meetings will be required
  • You will be part of the committee responsible for:
    • reviewing and setting medal and award criteria
    • evaluating and refining rubric language, and
    • writing and revising content for both judges and teams.
